The children of Rayleigh Primary School took to the stage       The school choir sung in Rayleigh to celebrate the switching on of the Christmas lights!     Waiting excitedly before the performance!       The choir impressed the crowds with their brilliant singing.   Well done Rayleigh Primary School!

YEAR 4 Visit Mountfitchet Last half term year 4 had a fantastic time visiting  Mountfitchet ! They learnt about the castle and how it ran. Year 4 used this trip to give them ideas for their Castles project! A year 4 teacher was interviewed by the Newspaper club about the day: Did you get chased by chickens?  Yes! We also got chased by peacocks. A tree fell over as well! Did you enjoy your day? We all did. There were many exciting things to see and learn about. Did it rain this time?  It did but only for 30 seconds!  Here are year 4 enjoying the attractions!  'We hope the year 4s next year enjoy their trip as much as we did!'

The other will be a teaching space so we can teach teachers as part of our work as the South Essex Teaching Institute.  The new teaching base from the front. Carpet going into the classrooms.

Thursday 16th October was a really exciting day in school. The new classroom for the Teaching School was delivered. We got to watch all the parts of the classroom put in place by a huge crane. The children got to watch as each part arrived and was set in place. The first section about to be lifted. WOW! Nearly there. Touchdown! The engineer talked to us about how everything worked. Last bit. Up and Over. ALL DONE :0)
