Hatching Chicks

Image
Hatching Chicks On Thursday 5 th February some of the baby chicks hatched! There are 10 eggs altogether but only 9 chicks have broken free from the egg. Hopefully the last chick will come. What breed of chicken? The type of breed of the chicks is a Hybrid Strain. They’re not a true breed but these chickens do lay good eggs. Where do the chicks go? There are farmers that will look after the chicks as they get older. Some farmers will sell their chicks if they can’t have any more animals to keep. So come and see the chicks, they are so cute! They are in the KS2 building opposite Miss Antonioni’s classroom.
