Rayleigh Vs Grovewood Football Result

On the 25th. February, Rayleigh Primary School played Grove Wood Primary School away. It was a well contested game and t wo great goals by Archie Ambrose and a great penalty save by Brayden Burton gave Rayleigh the edge.  The end result was a 2-0 win for Rayleigh. Overall an amazing team performance !!!

Year 6 Netball Result

On Monday 22nd. February Year 6 netball team visited Glebe Primary School to play a league match. Our team started strongly with Fern scoring three goals in the first quarter. We continued to play well throughout the next three quarters to win 9 goals to 1. Well done to Isabelle, Alex, Robyn, Lily, Darcey, Zoe and Fern

We ran a French c afé with the assistance of Miss Pouteau. RPS Karate Achievements.

Rayleigh Primary School children participated in, Forza Und 15's League Karate Championships (www.forzakarate.com) at the School Hall on Saturday Feb 6th. Well done to RPS Children who won many medals and Trophies..

Reception have been researching bears and as part of the module have collected approx 500 milk bottles to build an igloo in the classroom. Hopefully it will be stronger than last years.

Erasmus Project Skype Sessions

Over the last few weeks, the children in our Ladybirds and year 6 classes have been using a Skype session with other European countries to share a music lesson. The lesson involves singing a song to the school we are Skyping with, sometimes in their own language ! The children also ask questions between the two schools about their daily school routine and this has proved to be very informative.
