On November 24 th, RPS children took part in the Christmas Tree Festival at Holy Trinity Church . The title was ' our Family Tree' and you can now see it in the school foyer. Children in Year 4 and Year 2  participated in the decorating.

This week School Award is presented to, Respecting Differences in Others. Well done to all the nominees.

This Week Healthy snack winners are 1AF with a total of 108 healthy snacks.  5JB were very close with 104, Keep up the good work Year 5!

This Week School Award is presented for Best At Mathematics.  Well done to all the nominees.

Our new school Sports Councillors have now been elected. Their roles will include attending regular meetings to decide how to improve sport at Rayleigh Primary School and put forward ideas from their classmates. Our councillors are as follows Yr 6 - Evie Barker, Grace Webb and Alex Pagan Yr 5 - Conor Glen, Harriet Bettison and Sam Maclean Yr 4 - Harry Lusher and James Pagan Yr 3 - Lucy Passey and Evan Stone

This week School Award is presented for Challenging your Best. Well done to all the nominees.

Class 4MD won the Healthy snack award last year when they were in 3JP.  They were rewarded with a Healthy Snack Workshop and were taught about different healthy foods. Well done to the 2016 Rayleigh Primary School Eco Reps!

Dear Parents Year 5 will be having a sci-fi Day on Friday 4 th November. Children are invited to dress up as their favourite characters from science fiction books, movies, TV shows or comic books.  This is not mandatory however, if your child does not wish to dress up, then he/she will have to wear full school uniform.
