After losing their first game, the team went back to the training ground to prepare for their next match, which was a home game against Wyburns Primary School. This transpired to be a game where Rayleigh Primary School played to their full potential, playing a standard of football that would be classed as amazing, even for a year 6 team. Overall, an outstanding performance which saw Rayleigh Primary chalking up a 5 – 1 win.

In October this year, our year 6 netball team took on Plumberow Primary . This was an away match and our team played a hard game. We only conceded goals in two quarters but unfortunately, with Plumbrows outstanding shooting, we went down 12 - 0 but nonetheless, this was a well fought contest. Well done.

Dear Parents & Guardians, I am the Families and Children Worker employed by the Parish of Rayleigh. There are two sides to my role, church based and community work. I oversee the church families' and children's work. I am also available to support families in the community of any faith or none. As part of this role I have undergone training in listening and in working with parents and groups. As part of my community facing work I will be running the Parentalk - the Primary Years course in November. This is a course that was produced by the charity Care for the Family. Parentalk is about helping mums and dads to do the best job they can.
