Year 4 experienced a morning in an Indian classroom from a small village. They made Indian craft, wrote setting descriptions and took part in a morning assembly. 

This weeks winners with 114 healthy snacks is 1AF.  Well done Year One. 

Some parents from KS2 took part in a Healthy Food Work shop today and looked at sugar intake, portion sizes and healthy snack ideas. The children then joined them in a fruit tasting session. Click below to view more photos.

"Year 1 made fruit pizzas to practice the fractions and learned about 1/2, 1/4 and 3/4. We covered the whole crust with chocolate spread or jam, then used three different fruits to cover 1/2, 1/4 and 3/4 of our pizza!" Please click below to view more Photographs

In December KS2 held a Talent Show Competition for our school and a number of auditions took place at  the start of the process, which allowed our children to demonstrate their various skills, in front of the judges. Year 6 had the amazing experience of Skype video calling Mrs Yang's school in China! The children had so much fun. We told them about our Christmas traditions and sang them a song. They asked us lots of questions and sang to us too. Thanks Mrs Yang :) Click the picture below to view more photos.

Thank you for your generous donations towards the Children's Christmas Bazaar. A great time was had by all and the children enjoyed counting the money when we returned to school last week.
